Default Anyone know of a "touchless" car wash in the Detroit area?

I normally wash my car by hand, but now that winter has set in I would like to occasionally do a quick rinse off of winter crud if possible. I don't recall seeing any "touchless" car washes in the Detroit area, meaning the kind that just use jets of water instead of cloths. I don't want somebody else's dirt destroying the finish on my car! My plan right now is just to use the drive in bays, but a drive through would be nice to have as well.

Take to the do it yourself car washes where you can spray it down.
Sometimes I do that and take a bucket with a sponge and towels if you want to hand wash it in one of the stalls.
I have also taken it to the waterworks next to the Ford dealer on Belleville road to do the undercarriage, So far no scratches.

My plan was to use the DIY bays most of the time. All the dang salt on the road this week is making me very antsy. Thanks for the heads up on the place on Belleville Road- I'll have to take a look.

I agree with you, that a touchless car wash is a good idea.

However, a touchless lap dance is not so good.

I agree with borth the touchless carwash being good and the touchless lapdance being bad. I am in a similar dilemma with the winter, it is too cold to wash it myself, but there is no way i am going to one of these car washes and letting these idiots do it.

I've got a similar situation. We just got a bit of snow up here and the salting is pretty aggressive. We have a touchless wash near me, but I was told the chemicals they use in order to clean while still being touchless are pretty harsh and can mess with the rubber and plastic bits over time. Does anyone know if that's true?
