Checking In...Look what followed me home!

Hey folks....been away for a time....but never forgot YOU!

Life takes interesting twists but I rarely complain.

Traded in my HHR SS on a 2014 GTHIG Vert.....

Baby I'm back!

Still have my Ranger too but when Illinois finally got Concealed Carry all my time went to supporting my other hobby. Training and idiot politicians take up a lot of time.

I'd test driven a few GTs but they are not 5.0s...the NEW 5.0! I still have 3 of the old ones....

Anyway, I was going to see my mom today and well, who doesn't turn their head for a GTHIG Mustang?

Drove it home....

Nice car! There`s something vaguely familiar about it.

The color sold me! Loved it ever since folks here started raving about it. In person the effect of sunshine is incredible! In today's vernacular...It Rocks!..or is that yesterdays vernacular>

Taking a few corners there is no way it could keep up with the HHR but that will be addressed in time. The torque is typical American V8 but I'm going to miss the turbo kicking in. The HHR was incredible as it was a stick, but it wasn't a Mustang.

The last vert I had was a '69 Chrysler New Yorker....

It does look good in that picture. The black roof really sets it off.

Thanks folks! I thought it was my affinity to the color but driving through town every pedestrian that looks just stops what they are doing and the look turns into a stare....maybe the color should have been called Envy Green......told my neighbor I bought a camouflaged Mustang....he LOLd at that.

Beautiful car! My 10 year old keeps trying to talk me into getting one. They are becoming pretty rare here in STL. I told him if he would buy it for me then we could get rid of the 11. Time to break the piggy bank.
