i rescently got a new main engine wireing harness for my 88 gt , the harness is for maf , which i have converted to , the harness is in an connected , except for one connection which isnt on the harness , on the original harness it would have been a grey 8 pin connector , i was woundering what this was for on the stock harness , it is located on the drivers side near the break booster

It maybe for the airbag ....i ran into that when i converted my 88'hatch to maf

i dont have airbags in that car , , it routes back in to the passenger compartment by the break booster ,i was told it maybe for the guages , but im not sure , thats why i came in here to see if anyone would know , like i said i could give more info on it i would , but ......

sorry my mistake i know when i converted my car the harness and the computer came out of a 93
i replace the entire harness
i'm new here
but what i have seen somebody here can answer your question
