Default HELP----Going Nuts!

Help! I am trying to replace the rear leaf springs in my '73 Mustang convertible. The front leaf spring eye bolt on the passenger side rear leaf spring will not come out. I was finally able to "unfreeze" the bolt, however it simply will not come out. I have torched the spring, the bolt, the bracket, the rubber bushing; I have hammered the bolt trying to get it to back out...nothing. It will turn with a ratchet, but it refuses to back out of the eye bracket. I have tried to get it out for over five hours!!!!!!!!!

Any suggestions????????

Those things can be very tough. a bigger hammer sometimes works. By the way don't torch the spring, you will have problems with it bending later.
Take the spring completely off and take it to a press and have it pressed out.
