So I finally had a chance to take my car to autozone to have it scanned. The code that pulled up was P1143 Auxiliary Emission Controls 1 of 2 and 2 of 2 pd. Can anyone help me on this. Autozone didn't much helped in what the code means.

I am guessing this is why the Engine light turns on and off. But I also have the air bag that stays on and turn signals that don't work.

its a 97 v6. My main concern is the turn signal lights not working but was not sure if the code had to do with it.

Hey man, the Aux emission code usually pertains to you having a vacuum leak in your fuel system, mainly your gas cap not being on good with a good seal, or your cap being bad altogether. I see this all the time, I work for the good parts store. lol. I am a Manager for Advance Auto Parts in Texarkana Texas. Is your car running rough or bad?
