Default 1965 Mustang bought trying to figure out engine components? Help

I bought a 65 mustang with what was told to be a pro built 302 so started taking it apart, amature wise cause i noticed the rockers were just wobbly loose now i want to buy new parts but i dont know what exactly i have , tell me if this makes sense.
Block I dont know prolly 289 it has a offenhauser port o sonic intake for a 302 and it has cylinder heades with code D0oe-c which is 351 heads does this all sound right and what should i buy to upgrade or maybe just get it running better the rockers look factory and the lifters are flat also the bottoms of the heads were th valves are ,are all black, please help, thanks
