My 94 t-bird w/4.6 was getting 25 to 30 mpg highway, unfortunatly I sold it years ago. Now I am looking for a 94 on up Mustang , what im wondering is how much difference in milage between a stock v6 and v8 is there , and can a v6 get 35 mpg. I would like to own a nice daily driver that is not a 4 cyl. front wheel drive import .

I'm not sure about the V6s. But I have an 04 Mach 1 that gets 26-27 on the highway. And it will still blow the doors off anything on the road.

can't see a V-6 getting 35 mpg. low-mid 20's for a relatively stock GT. maybe a little better on the hwy. , with cruise, downhill, with a slight tailwind... on a good day...
