my idle seems to be sticking alot lately, it goes up when i put on the clutch and change gears, and when i stop at red lights it stays up at like 2000, to 2500 then eventually goes down to 1000, and 1000 still is kinda high. it doesnt do it all the time. But it seems to be doing it more often. i replaced the idle air motor and it still does it! i dont know whats wrong w/ it and its very embarrassing. someone please help me!!

Need to check to see if you have a vacuum leak. The easiest way I think to do this is to get a can of starting fluid, start the engine, and lightly bump the nozzle and spray all the lines and the throttle body. If their is a leak,the vacuum will pull the fluid in to the intake and the rpm will climb.Try this first and let me know!!

It also might be your TPS going bad.

Check for a vacum leak or a bad tps sensor.

what is a TPS?
