Hi,

why not use a electrical fuel pump?
Or use a early timing chain cover.

Hi Markus, I do have a new repo early type timing chain cover. It is that the round wheel like part that bolts to the top timing chain sprocket. Does NOT have the dowell pin to hold it in place.
The Eccentrics IT CALLED. It drives the fuel pump arm. I'm trying to make it look stock looking. Not really into HIPO Stuff. Anyone else have a sugestion? Thanks

Hi Markus, I do have a new early type timing chain cover. The new 5.0 does not have a FUEL PUMP ECCENTRICS on it. Because it is fuel injected. Nor does it have the Dowell pin on the cam put one on to it. Is there a way to do this, other than changing out the cam? Thanks

Hi,

you need only a longer dowel pin to hold your fuel pump exentric.
Pull the short one out and hammer (cautious) a longer one in. You must not
change the cam!

Default Mustang II oil pan

Does anyone have a picture of a Mustang II V8 oil pan? I'm installing a small block 5.0 enigne into my 77 Ford Pinto Panel wagon and I was told I need a Mustang II V8 oil pan and motor mounts.

I was told the oil pan is different than a standard 302 oil pan. I can't find a picture of one anywhere--do any of you guys have a picture of one??

included before and after pics

thanks for your help

Default Oil Pan Must 2

Hi, I do not have a pic for you. But I think that it would be like the newer Fox body cars. One that uses a double hump type pan. They look a lot like the 4x4 pans. I was just checking on my post To see if there were anymore answers. I seen your post. You might want to just make a whole new post for your question. You might get more answers. Good luck!
