5.0 into early car help

Dose anyone know if you can add or put the Dowell Pin into the front of a cam on a 5.0 that was fuel injected? (going to a carburetor) I need this to drive the pump. Thanks

As long as the cam gear can accept it, yes you can.

Hi, Thank you for your answer. I took a flash light and looked, their is one there. but it is not long enough to catch the eccentrics. Also the cam gear is slotted there. So I can hopefuly just pull that one out and buy one that is long enough? Right? Thanks for your help!
