i have a 68 fastback, and i would like to know if front buckets from a 87 lx hatchback would fit in using the slidders and brackets from my 68 or will i have fab up some new ones. i guess what i am asking, will it bolt wright up ? take any help you can throw my way.

I installed a set of 1994 Mustang seats in my 67 and I used the 67 seat brackets. I found two of the four holes lined up perfectly, the front ones. I bolted down the brackets to the front holes, marked where the two mismatching holes needed to be in the back and drilled and tapped the seat frame to fit. It worked out great.
