i have an 88 mustang runs great dont really drive it on the street runs 12.70s on 8 inch wide drag radials i wana go like 12 40 or so the car has 4 30 gears in it i was gonna run 27 inch slicks cause with the 26 inch slicks i run out of gear right b4 the finish line and my 26 inch drag radials are tired and dont hook any more i figure new drag radials and taller ones i should drop a tent or two but i wana go carbureted for cleaner appearance and ive always benn told converting to carburetion will drop a few 10th s in the 1/4 mile i was thinking like edel brock torker II with a speed demon carb lime 570 or so what do you guys think ive had alot of mustangs and build them for other local people but have never had a carbureted one should i switch to it to try and gain a few horses???
