Default Check Engine Light After Exhaust Install

I finished an installation of the pypes off-road x-pipe on my 98 gt. This eliminated all the catalytic converters. I put MIL eliminators on the two downstream 02 sensors. Do i need MIL eliminators on the upstream ones also? The check engine light is on. Plus its running rich-smelling-im assuming this may be because of no more catalytic converters? The car runs and idles perfect btw. Any insight would be great!

Default Yes you can..

Yes there are tuners for the stock computer. Diablo is one. However I dont personnaly have a custom tune so I'm not the expert. I'm sure there are many members here who are though.. I was thinking in the future of getting a cold air intake, that requires a tune also. Check the many threads in the Tech catagories, am sure you'll find some info..

I got the engine code for it- EGR insufficient flow....popped the hood and the vacuum line was broken. Replaced that in the parking lot, cleared the code-no worries so far-im about 200 miles in.
Thanks!
