Default Converting front brake to disc.

I have a '66 Mustang and was told that I could use a Ford Granada braking system to convert the front brakes to disc. Is this true? If so what year? I know those conversions are a little spendier than I want to pay out, but I can find an old Granada pretty easy. Thanks.

Matt

i actually have a 67 with Granada front disk breaks. I don't know the year off the top of my head but i can find out for you. it was quiet simple except i put mine on while rebuilding my car. I'll try and get back to you with more information about it.

Seems like it was early 70's stuff.

A few years back I wanted to do the same thing. I searched for usable parts in junkyards, e-bay, and every where else I could think of. But those parts are 35 years old now. By the time you rebuild, resurface, and replace, it wasn't worth the effort.

So I bought the kit from SS Brakes that included a new dual MC. All new parts, fit perfectly, no hassle chasing down the right seal, bolt, or what have you.
