Hi everyone! I'm new to this but thought I would introduce myself a bit. I recently bought a 91 Mustang LX Convertible and am having some issues with a beeping noise inside the car, was wondering if anyone can shed some light on what the problem could be, I have an idea what the problem might be but I'm looking for some imput! Thanks bunches!

Can you replicate the problem, or does it beep all the time?

The beeping seems to have a pattern to it, not sure if there was a certain number or not. I only had the car out for a bit and then put it back into winter storage, so I didn't really drive it that long. It also made the noise once before too, it would beep with the same amount of time between the noise, but it didn't stop beeping until the car was shut off and then restarted. After the car was shut off and restarted the beeping stopped, but over the weekend when I had it out it did it again. I'm clueless!

Well everyone I think I figured out what is causing the annoying beeping noise inside my 91 5.0 LX Convertible! I am pretty sure it is because the air bag light in the dash is burned out!!! I was doing alot of research last night and went and looked at the car today and sure enough when I turned the key to ON no air bag light lit up! Now its just a matter of taking the dash apart I guess to replace the bulb!

Any of you know if its really hard to get the dash apart to change the bulb?
