VSS to speedo gear conversion ?????????

i am in the process of installing a tremec 3550 tranny in my 99 cobra. my car is equipped with vss, and the input on the tremec tranny is for a speedo gear. brothers performance claims there is a conversion out there to deal with this, any ideas on where to find it?

Conversion? I would guess that there might be some sort of adapter, but I don't see how you could do a conversion, unless you wanted to buy a mechanical speedo and then run a speedo cable.

I beleive you can convert the VSS signal to speedo, have someone with simmilar issue using an electronic speed sensor convertion to VSS.

nevermind guys...i found out today that the 96-98 cobras use a speedo gear but have an electronic speed sensor...so i went to ford and got the speed sensor and a speedo tooth and it works perfect...thanks anyways...
