ok so i have a ford engine that im trying to Id the intake manifold says its C40E-9425 and 4D28 so a 289 right? but i took the valve covers off and underneath one of them a 351 was stamped on the block next to the springs so what is that? i am a rookie 17 yearold with a 1966 mustang so guys i could use your help. (this engine is not in my car just to let you know)

Sounds like someone did an intake and head swap on it. Heads are from a 351 and a 289 intake.
