Default CDC shaker removal

So, I have a new set of valve covers and I need to remove my shaker, any recommendations? I had the dealership paint and install it for me, so I'm not sure how it is supposed to be removed. I have printed off the install instructions from CDC as a reference guide. The ball stud socket looks like the one thing holding the assembly in place.

any suggestions would be appreciated, I dont want to damage it.

It's held on in the front by the upper two throttle body bolts. The ball and socket just keep it from moving in the back.
