Just wondering what the average life span of a Mustang V6 brake master cylinder might be? I know symptoms of mushy pedal when master cylinder starts to fail, and the danger of pushing the pedal all the way to floor when bleeding. I read a link on importance of flushing the brake fluid which might not have ever been done on this car 150,000 miles.

MC's mostly die from corrosion. Corrosion is caused by water. If you flush the system every once in a while, the MC will last almost forever.
