79-82 tail lights work similar to the S-197 or SN-95 tail lights.
Six bulbs:
Two for reverse
The other four are multi-function, because of the six section lenses not counting the reflector and reverse sections ech build has two slots.
both work as one when you apply brakes, use hazards or blinkers. SO Ive been told.
Basically it has four tail lights that work like a vettes. So if all later Mustangs have four tail lights regaurdless of lense design that work together like the four the corvette has then the sequential kit should be a simple mod. Seems like a chevy relay would do the same thing. What is it the front blinkers on chevys have a positive ground? or no ground which makes the front blinkers and sidemarkers stop blinking together and alternate after current is high enough. this would be essentially a sequential wouldnt it?
If I could see a kit and what all it enties I could figure out how to do it. funny thing is I dont think anyother fox could run the sequential kit since 83+ uses one bulb for brake light and a seperate on for blinkers. maybe the 93 with cheesgraters could use the kit too.
