Unhappy 302 engine noise

Hey everyone, I hope someone out there can help me with this!!!

So if your ead my profile, I have a 69 grande and 65 coupe. Currently only the 65 is running, but when the 69 was running, it did the same thing as the 65, and I am at a loss!

When you fire up the engine, eveyrthing runs fine. No bad noises at all. If you drive down the road, whether your driving easy or hitting the pedal to the floor, there is no problems at all.

Now, when the car has warmed up a little bit, its a whole new ball game. With the car warm, if your in park or reverse and you slam on the gas, everything still sounds fine, and you even do some fat burnouts! (haha) HOWEVER, when you go into drive, and get on the throttle even mildly hard, the engine make a VERY loud sound! The best way to describe it is extremely hard shaking of a spray can with the marble inside. You can hear it all the way up the street! i tried putting stuff like Slick 50 in it, but no luck.

if your just drive nice and easy, you never hear the noise. If you hae it in park and race the motor, you don't hear the noise. But give it a dirve load and start to get on it, the noise is very loud!

We thought it may have been piston slap, but when looking in the 69 motor, there was no sign of it! I am really at a loss here and wanted to get some ideas before just dropping thousands into another motor!
Thanks everyone!

Are you sure it's a engine noise because you say it doesn't do it in park or reverse. I might be way off but I had a car with a bad engine mount and when I hit the throttle in drive my fan was hitting the shroud and it sounded like a bad engine noise. How is your oil pressure when warm?
