ive got a 68 mustang with a 94 5.0 motor. i had points in it and now replaced it with a electronic ignition out of a early nineties T bird with a 50. i heard not to use the module if there was one certain wire thats blue on some an red on others. just wondering if anyone knew anything about this or what would happen if i used the red wired module.

do you mean wire color or the color of the plastic tab the wires come out of??

if you mean the tabs...i always used the blue one for built engines. i believe there are blue, brown, red, and yellow.
