Default oil pan bolt is not tightening up

i changed the oil in my 03gt and now it won't tighten up---feels like it may be stripped but it's tight up against the pan-----i put the oil in and drove it with no leaks----is there any real potential for a problem with this?

thanks

Is it the bolt that's stripped or the oil pan?.

If it is the oil pan they do make an oversized drain plug tap thingy so you don't have to change your oil pan.
I would not drive around to long without getting that taken care of for sure.

You could always weld a new bung on the oil pan, (but I think you would have to re-move it due to the oil!!) But you could try to re-tap the threads for a new size bolt.
