[my 94 stang]

After i start the engine shut it off, start it again, i get a smell of gasoline coming through the ventilation system for a few seconds then it goes away, and yes it does it every time i restart, can anyone help. Someone told me it might be from the charcoal canister but i have know idea where the canister is, can you help. It a convertible if that makes a difference.

could be the caniater or even the canister purg regulator and at 15 years old, all that stuff is prob at the end of it's life span....also check the vaccum hoses going from the cainster purge regulator as it shares some of the same vaccum hoses as the heater & ac system
