Your not getting any power to the coil at all? How did you check for that? Is your car kicking over at all, like the starter or anything, or power to where all the little dummy lights come on in the dash?
The 4 main things to check for ignition wise is obviously the coil. Next would be the ignition modual that sits right underneath the distributor, it is rectangle, and has a plug going to it. If that is stock from 90, that very well could have gone out. If that is the problem, make sure to grease up the back good before replacing it (has a metal contact plate on the back), and the 3rd thing there could be the pip pickup inside the distributor itself, although that has a very low failure rate. Don't think that it doesn't go out even though it has a low failure rate, mine went out, and it is a PIA to change. Have to pull the the whole distributor assembly apart. Al the parts are pretty cheap tho, I think the ignition module goes for about $15 bucks, the pip for about $30, or maybe it was the other way around, I dunno, been awhile.
The other thing I would check would be the ignition switch underneath the steering column. You have to pull the plastics off the steering column, and underneath you will see a big plug with a ton of wires coming in and out of it. This was a bad factory part from the dealer, and had to be recalled on like some 500,000 vehicles if I remember right. The problem is the contact is not that great, and the plug overheats, and has the possibilty to catch fire. Lots of times it may melt some things, and cause failure of anything from blinkers, to your a/c unit. If that has never been replaced, that very well could be the cause, and wouldn't hurt to check. Plus the part is cheap, like $10 bucks or less at most major automotive stores.
Good luck!
