HI,
I have read a bunch of posts on here about this but I am not sure if I understand what to do. First, not to offend any feminists, I am a female and honestly do not know a whole lot about cars. What I do know is my turn signals do not work. My hazards work fine. I checked all the fuses and have replaced the hazard flasher unit (under the dash on the driver side). I also took it to the local Ford dealership who did not have a clue but would be happy to charge me $80 an hour while they attempted to get a clue.. Right.. So any suggestions out there? Thanks for any help !!

well, prob a mulit-function switch, which is under the strg wheel on the column...$80.00 an hr may sound like alot having the dealer diag the problem but it will be cheaper in the long run vs throwing parts at it that dont fix the problem....now a new M/F switch is @$89.00 retail if you want to throw one on it to try

Hi,
Thanks.. $80 hour didn't make me flinch, it was the guys lack of knowledge on well anything.. As I told him, is the $80 an hour luck of the draw? I guess my problem is do I have to pay someone who fumbles around and just cant figure it out when the next mechanic might know right off what to test first. I think I am going to take it in, I plan to give them the suggestions I get here hopefully to point them the right way I was hoping someone had experienced the exact same thing? Anyone?

P.S. Thanks Randy, when I told my husband what you said he too said I should take it in.. (he is afraid to take my car apart because I might hurt him if he messes it up!)
