OK. this is my first time here and i hope to get some help. searching Google doesn't always help. I have a 1966 mustang coupe. i love the classics. but i also have my heart set on finding myself a 1999-2004 gt for a daily driver cause i couldn't do that to my poor coupe. so i want to get some customization into my new (future) mustang by changing some things up to make it a little more true to the founding father's of the mustang breed of the 60's starting with the emblems. i want to remove the existing GT emblems and replace them with the classic red GT emblems of the 60's models. i have already read the method about removing the existing emblems with a hair dryer and looking out for the metal studs and what not but i assume that the classic fender emblems stud holes will not match up with the classic ones. so my question is this... does anyone know where i can find some permanent classic stick-on emblems for my new mustang?

Look in any late model mustang catalog and I'm sure you'll find embems that are meant to replace them directly in there. Different replacement emblems have been around since the 90's. Try Mustangs Unlimited, Late Model Resto, CJ Pony Parts, etc.
