Default W/F Gauge at WOT?

Will an Autometer A/F gauge properly show me what my ratio is at WOT?

I know it just bounces around while cruising or idle, but I've heard somewhere that it can tell you if you're rich or lean at WOT. Is that true?

That's what it's designed to do, but you need better O2 sensors to be close to accurate.
