What is the differance between a GT and a GTS?

does anyone know the difference between the GT and the GTS?? I have a friend who´s in progress of bying a stang. The dealer that sells it says it´s a cobra, but I checked the VIN, and was clearly not a cobra! The dealer also says that it has a stock 299 hp, the stang in question is a ´95. the VIN is 1FALP45T4SF156776.

The GTS does not have a wing, driving lamps, or the nice interior of a GT.
Basically it is a 6 cylinder Mustang with a v8 upgrade from the factory., kinda like the old LX coupe.

No stock 95 Mustang ever made 299 hp! The dealer is full of ****!! If it's a Cobra it makes 245 hp. If its a GT or GTS, it makes 225 hp. I bet the dealer is trying to rape your friend on the price, too. I wouldn't do business with him.
