Smile 93 vert needs a C-6 or does it?

I have found a C-6 off a 300 six in a van and want to put it in my 93 convertible that i drag race. It has a FMX now and I dont want to spend money on a torque converter for it when I know it will be hard to find a replacment for the trans if I blow it.( anyone need a FMX ) So what will it take to do this has any one done it? I know a C-4 would be easier but wouldnt the C-6 be much stronger and I have it. Please if you can give details on why not if thats what you say.

The bolt pattern is the same as the 302 we change 302 with 300 all the time and 300 with 302 it will bolt to the 302 but what about the car will the C-6 fit in the body of the 93 stang. I have torches and welders and it doent need to bolt up to the car I can make that stuff if I can find out if it will fit into the space of the transmission tunnel I can make something to bolt the back to.

C6s don't like the Fox chassis.Just put in an aluminum headed 351W/C6 combo in a guy's Linc Mark VII.The tunnel needed major hammer surgery to fit the big servo on one side and the linkage ont the other. The 351 swap headers, however fit nicely,as does the STOCK 4-cat H-pipe.Now the only remaining issue is that the bangin' moved the floor metal into the gas pedal,so the brake bracket needs a few smacks so the gas can be moved an inch or so to the left.No interior probs with the pass side though.
