Default Higher Octane Fuel and O2's

Has any one ever heard that a 93 octane premium will damage O2's? Someone has just informed me that he was told running premium versus unleaded would cause premature wear on those sensors. This sounds like bull to me, but any info opinions would be good.

93 is the only octane that I have run in my stang and also in my 91 pontiac sunbird convert that had a 3.1 v6 and both the cars where fine with the exception of the pontiac which my brother totaled for me but that had nothing to due with the octane so I am going to say B.S. it is fine on the O2's

Home made CAI, Pro 5.0, Steeda clutch adjuster kit, Raised gass pedal, GT take off's, white gauge face, Aluminum pedals, Aluminum driveshaft, underdrive pully, 03 cobra IRS with bushings and rear steer kit, 10th ann. Cobra rims wrapped in 275 Eagle F1's, 3/8 intake spacer.

I've heard all kinds of crazy rumors about running premium.. Someone tried telling me that premium will void my warrantee!!!

I would say its definite BS

It's BS... The only thing that will harm your O2 sensors and your cats is putting LEADED GAS in your car.

yeah i seen your post.. i havent tried them yet, i wont really know if it worked or not for awhile... my JBA headers wont show up till monday, then i have to trailer it off to the muffler shop to get my X pipe welded in... the trailer it to the alignment shop to get me rack aligned...

Well Adam, it wasn't a "friend" so to speak but I believe it was a forum member that threw that at me. I too laughed at the suggestion but what the hell, sometimes people want more than 1 opinion.
