Hi, sorry for screaming but I have been looking around like crazy for a hood off of a Cobra that has the two side scoops that look like flaring nostrals 95-98???? And I finally found one. Only problem is that there is a crack on the nose that runs toward the back, about 4 inches or so and it isn't very big. First of all is this fixable and if it is about how much am I looking at??? It is white and my car is mineral grey so it will need to get repainted anyway. Second of all will this hood fit my 2002 v6???? I always assumed that it would but It would kill me to find out other wise when I try to put the thing on. Someone PLEASE get back to me as soon as you can to let me know any of this. It is very important cuz I don't want to loose the chance to get the hood.

that 94-98 cobra hood ...WIIL NOT FIT your 2002 v6...but at www.californiamustang.com they DO sell the "flared nostril" scoops seperately for cheap money,too...they are only like $28 each side...check 'em out....sorry about the bad news....and good luck

so how exactly do they go on???? I took a look at them and I would have to buy a new hood anyways cuz there is no way that my hood would look right with the two Flared nostrils and the current groove that goes down the middle.

im not too sure on that...i'd say to ask the guys over in the svt forum...they can look at theres maybe....but if u are just gonna buy a new hood i think there are a few companies that make an aftermarket hood with the two scoops.
