Default Stroking

Stroking

I have a 69 Mustang with I bought coming back from overseas in 69. At that time it had a 200 ci and 3 speed. When the smog laws came off it was rebuilt from the ground up. Now it has a 351W, .30 clean up bore, 69/74 Windsor Heads, Comp Cam, Comp Lifters, Comp Roller Rockers, Elderbrock Performer 351W intake, Performer 600 cfm carb,K&N filter and Extreme Top, Hedman Long Tube Headers, MSD ignition and Plug wires, beefed C4, and 9 inch rearend 3.25 gears and Detroit Locker.

Was considering stroking the engine but would like to know if it can be done with Ford parts. CHP has kits for 383-427. but can it be done with Blue Oval.
Thanks
Jess

A 400M crank .125 offset ground with 300 6cyl rods will get you a 427. The pistons will need to be custom. Or use a 383 Chevy piston

Buy the kit. Maching parts together is a pain in the a** and there's so many kits out there to choose from.
