Question EEC Tuner , FMU, and Bypass questions.

I have a 95 GT with a 331,S-Trim, 75mm T/B, 75mm MAF, 50lb injectors, cobra upper and lower, AFR heads, custom cam, EEC and GUI. To start with I haveto do and not to do taking the FMU off? I was told to get a bleeder valve and put it on it also told to ditch it? I chose to ditch it? Is this the right way? I have the small plastic bypass valve that came with the kit. The car will not run with the bypass hooked up? Do I need the larger race bypass? Also, I have not really got into the EEC & GUI all that much. I have the car running and does good but is the reason the car will not run with the bypass because of the MAF and fuel tables are still running for a stock 302 T4MO? If so, can someone help on ANY of these questions?

THANKS

Tim in Louisville

Ditch the FMU, the EEC can take care of the fuel needs as well as the timing.

Stuff to do:

1. remove FMU
2. Set the MAF Table to match your 75mm
3. Set Injector Slopes for injector size
4. Timing at 8 (just for safety while you get the hang of spark Tables)
6. Raise LOAD scaling values so that MAX Load in the Spark tables > 90% (on the GUI select Spark Tables and check whats the scaling that affects load, sorry i forgot)
7. Adjust spark advance on spark tables above 80% load reducing advance 1 degree for every PSI of boost. (check your PSI / RPM while driving the car)

Default ?

OK, I removed FMU, I have tried to use the excel sheet for my maf but I cannot get it to work out right? Here are my numbers from my Pro-M----Actual Flow- - AVG. 90 SAMPS-
1261.5 3.976
1155.0 3.835
1052.7 3.696
855.7 3.394
504.1 2.691
301.2 2.153
101.7 1.222
38.6 .579
21.1 .302
0.0 .020

I just do not get it? I put it in like the instructions say, but it keeps comming up wrong

Why will the car not run with the bypass hooked up? Is it because I have not put the correct numbers in the maf table??? Can You help out?

THANKS

How do you do about accomplishing #6? I don't know how to modify the load tables above 80%. Can you help me out?
