Default Headers, headers, headers...

Hey guys..
I've got all my exhaust components down pat for my next upgrade, but I'm having problems settling on headers. I was reading all the product reviews on StangNet.com and those just confused me more. I'm wondering what some of you are running? I'm definitely want to go with equal length and have them HCC coated, but I'm not sure what brand to go with. So, so many choices. Any advice would be great!
-Paul
P.S. I'm running them into a Dr. Gas X-Pipe, and MAC Pro-Dumps cat back system

We are running MAC equal length on my son's Mustang (Jesse)
They fit really well and look to be of good quality. I have no complaints

Default headers

ive got the mac equal length headers as well. just put them on a couple of weeks ago. they were a little tight to get in but not to bad. the ones i got came with the copper gaskets and 11mm headed bolts. they sound better to boot.

I have the MAC unequal headers (92 GT) and the fit was perfect. Came really close to the steering shaft but they clear. The copper gaskets were a surprise when I opened the box, I was expecting those cheap paper ones. AWESOME difference in HP!

Has anyone used long tube headers on an SN95? i got a 95 GT and want the more HP but im gonna drop it about 1.5" with the steeda G-Trac... clearance probs.? If I cant run those, im wondering which would be better, I like the low end torque. Ive always wondered, with equal length headers, how do you change your spark plugs? it was bad enuff with hookers on my bro's old Chevelle and Camaro. (see im the smart one in the family)

Properly built headers will give plug access as well as any other fitment problems. Check out headersbyed.com , he'll really open your eyes and dispell some misconceived "facts"about headers.

i had FMS GT40 p headers they were good, and very nice quality, i just installed Macx long tubes on a 92 GT AOD and they make it sound like a FE big block from the 60's and i felt a big increase in mid to top end, and suprisingly they were very very easy to install, there easier to install on the SN95 cars. but for the shorties i would go GT P, i had them for 2 years and they still look good

I have Mac Equal-lengths and they are a ***** to install. Just make sure you remove your accessories and slide the headers in from the front of the engine. And another VERY IMPORTANT thing is to make sure your spark plug wires DO NOT touch the headers.
