If I'm reading this correctly, the nut at one of the collectors is stripped out? If so, why not just buy a new nut or go to a larger bolt?

I feel like I'm misinterpreting this, if so, sorry.

try taking some vice grips or something and turning it that way...you said its partially out so im assuming its not torqued down. also sometimes what works is say the bold is metric, using the next size down but in american sizes will sometimes get it too, if that makes sense.

thanks ill try but does anyone know sense im pretty much running one open header if this will cause a loss in horsepower cuz i moved my car and i can usally move it without any gas and just lightly let out on the gas but this time it wanted to die is this becuase of no back pressure or do i need to check my spark plugs becuase i took them out so i wouldnt break them when i took the header off

i might be a little late on this reply whether you fixed it or not....not sure about the horsepower question...if you got the header off along with the cats, try the vice grips...works good alot of times...if you can and the nut is a "seperate piece" take a thin dremmel and cut the bolt right behind the nut and replace it. it not....i dont know what to tell ya
