Rear vent made functional?

Is there any way to make the rear side scoops functional as rear brake coolers? I know that is what they where once used for and I hate the way that the stock one's look with the black plastic closing it off.

I would say yes, but it would take some time and money. There might be a kit for it actully. Have you looked around some of the aftermarket sites?

The hardest part is mounting the air ducts to the scoops. Other than that it's just routing the the ducts though the body and onto the calipers. It can be done and would be usesful too.
