What chip to go with? Ok guys, here's the deal. I just bought a set of 24# injectors to complete my combo here, so I need to either get a new MAF or re-program the one I have (75mm Pro-M). Recalibration costs $100 and takes about a week, a new MAF I can get for around $175, or I could buy a Pro-M MAF tuner for $150 and program it myself.
Instead of the above, I was just thinking of getting a custom chip burned. Why waste $150+ on a new MAF when I can put that money towards a good chip, right? I am of course assuming that the chip will compensate for the bigger injectors.
I don't want to get a tweecer or eec tuner because I don't have access to a laptop and I want my car to be tuned on the dyno. Plus I don't plan on changing my engine combo anytime soon (famous last words). So what chip do you guys reccomend? I want something with a couple of different settings (stock, street, strip, etc.) Thanks.
Also, anyone know of a good dynotune capable shop in central/south cali?
