Default 88 vert 2.3 to 5.0 swap

I just got an 88 convertable with a blown 2.3 and auto trans. Includede in the deal was a 5.0 engine, AOD trans, computer and wiring harness, and all accessories(ps pump, alt., ac cond) from an 88 T bird. I am assuming that the engine is not a HO because it does not say so on the intake and the car it came out of only had a 7.5'' rear end. Is there any way i can tell for sure w/out tearing the motor apart? This is also not a mass air motor. Also I no longer have access to the donor car so if any other parts are needed it looks like i'm headed back to the junkyard. I have the motor mounts from the t-bird, will these work? Also what else will I have to change to fit the 5.0 combo in my 2.3 car. I am trying to spend as little as possible on the conversion but still would like to put headders on since i'm going to have to change the exhaust system anyway. I plan on using summit for most of my parts but if you know of any place cheaper let me know. thanks for any help you can give. I'm sure i'll have more questions to come.

Sounds like a non HO motor. The cam in the non HO is smaller. A 7.5 wont handle a HO motor with out having to realy beef up the gears. Ford would have put an 8.8 behind it instead. I don't think the motor mounts will fit. There's a complete thread in the 5.0L tech area about swaps.
