A 351w is ALMOST the same as a 302 block except for a taller deck height which translates into a larger stroke=more CID.

Late 351s were found mostly on trucks, early ones made it into almost all Ford trucks, large passenger cars and 93 and previous Mustangs.

A 351 can use most of the components of a 5.0, heads will fit, roller rockers, cams.

5.0 to 351 conversions are popular because you can reuse most of your 5.0 parts into the 351.

Ford ended the production of 351s a few years back, but there are some shops that might still have some crates.

Also,

The best 351W blocks to use, except for FRPP blocks, are out of 77-79 truck/van. They have heavier mains, thicker cyl walls, and have Cleveland style rods with spot faced rod bolts instead of broached.

FRPP (that’s Ford Racing) has the brackets you will need. And just about any header manufacture will have headers for the swap
