sometimes my dome light will stay on when i turn on the car and turn it off.

when i try to use the remote to lock it, it beeps twice, which usually means the door is open. is there any way to isolate which door it is so i can look at it? what should i even look for?

Yikes!!!! I was searching Google about this same problem and it looks like it's been around a long time without ever being fixed!!! I have a 40th Anniversary Edition 2004 Ford Mustang GT. It's really annoying and if I can find a replacement dome light with the three way switch like some cars have (totally off, on with door open or totally on), I will buy one. Tonight, I got tired of it when driving to the grocery store late in the evening and the silly dome light is on, so I rip off the cover and burn my fingers yanking the bulb out.
