Angry Help - No Oil Pressure

My motor has been finished for a year now, and I'm making 0psi oil pressure. I have a 5.0L brand new block, '68 guts (crank and rods, modified with the right seal), 351W heads, a Crane 284 hydraulic cam and lifters, performer rpm manifold, and holley 600 vacumn secondary - this motor makes no oil pressure on a brand new Summit mechanical gauge, and no oil gets to the valve train. The pump works, I've tested it outta the block and in the block with no filter. I'm at a loss, and asking for help. I haven't driven this car since '95, and would like to at some point. The 3 plugs are in the front of the block. HELP! Thanks. Mike.

I would check the sending unit or the oil pump driveshaft . I'm betting on the sending unit .

Was this a brand new block from Summit?

I ask because I've used nine of these final-issue 5.0 blocks, and every one had at least one part missing. The third one arrived missing two frost plugs.

Other than that,a few other questions.
Did you use a gasket between the pump and block?
Is it a 302 pump, and not a 351W?Sounds silly, but I've seen it happen.Dude had put together his own engine, and when his parts arrived he had a 351W pump. With a 5/16" driveshaft hole. The 1/4" 302 shaft would just spin inside the hole when spun up.Could happen.
Is there a kink in your gauge line?
Has the thing actually ran like this,or are you just priming it?
I don't want to seem presumptuous, but are you sure the pump is spinning the right way when priming?(Should be counter-clockwise)
And finally, does the tip of the distributor fully enclose the pump shaft?

This ones sounds challenging,so please let us know what happens.
