Default Re: Engine builders vs Engine assemblers

Great Article!

When it came time to build the engine for my 89 coupe, I went thru exactly the same thing. I originally planned to build the engine myself but when considering the amount of money invested, decided it was important to make sure it went together right the first time. Where I could have easily built the engine myself, I decided to turn the job over to Don Ryan, who's known as one of the best, if not the best, high performance Ford engine builders in my home town. Don's knowledge and years of experience building performance engines was well worth the investment and was a great learning experience for me.

Here's a link to Don working on my engine build:

While I am sure I could have assembled my engine just fine, the difference with Donny doing it made all the difference!
