Question Help!! Having odd ignition Problems

Ok,

I'm almost done with the 4 banger to 8 swap..just need a few things to make it driveable.....

anyway, I went to crank the car and the starter started turning it in the run position, not the start.. when i turn it to start, the starter goes off...when in the run postion, the ses light is off, when in start, it comes on..

Now, I used a voltmeter to check the #32 wire (red/lt blue) that goes to the top of the starter relay, and it is a 12v in the on position and at 0 in the crank position. after a while of testing, it now gives no voltage in any position.

What i changed in the wiring is as follows:

1. pulled out eec harness
2. connected coil to chassis harness
3. connected duraspark ign module, holley oil pressure safety switch and electric choke to the #16 wire (red/lt green) at the ignition switch
4. cut the neutral safety switch harness and wired it to the neutral safety switch on the c4 tranny i used for the swap.

So, any ideas??

Check the ignition switch, not the lock cylinder but the actual switch that the cylinder plugs into.
