What should i BUy any suggestions I can a 94 GT 5.0 with 75k on it for under 5 grand or a 00' GT 4.6 w/ 12k on it for 10,800$ i cannot decide i love the 5 lier but the 4 6 already has the power where as i would have to put more money into the 5liter but the parts are so much cheaper any suggestions would help im my deciding the only reason i get these cars so cheap is I work at a dealership and they traded the 94 in and my friend has the 00' w/ a 02 motor in it it was a theft recovery the car itself has 50k on the body just a 02 motor was installed.
thanks, kyle

I would defintly go with the 4.6.. They are great motors and 10k is DIRT cheap.. I got my 98 with 28k miles for 14k.. With 4.10 gears, CAI, pulleys, and good tires you have a mid 13 second car.
Well, I'll be the oddball here and say go for the 5.0. I've drove both a 4.6 (02 I think) and my 5.0, and I had more fun in the 5.0. Granted, the 02s interior is a little bit nicer (ok, a lot nicer), I like the 5.0 better.
ya got that right...lol tell those chicks to stop driving our cars!
...lol I joke, I joke.. but yeah...theres always the age factor..think about it..94...come next april...the things gunna be 10 years old..

I'd go with a 5.0, and spend the rest on a tune up and a KennyBell blower and gears and a buch of other stuff...
my 94 maybe 10 years old but it's living proof that if taken care of it'll last and last and last.
depends on what ur priorities are i guess, reliability of a newer car vs. left over cash to up the performance, and braggin rights of a 5.o owner
i used to have people pull up next to me and ask: "is that a 4.6" with a face lookin like they just bit into a lemon, untill i stuck a 5.o badge on the side... now they pull up next to me and ask: "is that really a 5.0". ;P
come to think of it, people need to concentrate more on the road ahead than concern themselves with the sizes of ther peoples .. aghem.. motors...
Originally posted by Cuda-eater Go for the 5.0, when the 4.6 came out, I was driving an '89 5.0LX with the following window sticker: "Silly Pony! a 4.6 is for CHICKS!"
That's because I never lost to a single 4.6, ever.
Love the sticker. Send me one I'll pay$$$$$$
no replacement for displacement
