Default shift kit

I saw a shifter at advance auto for an automatic transmission. It said it would fit a ford 4-speed auto. What improvements does this special shifter make and is it worth 150 dollars?

usualy the shift kit will make your shifters more firm and it will make your tranny stronger, What some epople dont know isd the more soft a tranny shifts the worse it is for the tranny, i would go with a Trans Pack shift kit if I where you!

mustang5, all of what 99CustomStang said, but with regard to the specific shift kit you mentioned, would need more information on what manufacturer and model it was, before being able to comment on it.
