Default I DON'T FIT!!! among other problems....

Ok guys...so i buy my shiny new 94 cobra, expecting a reasonably sporty and good looking ride, and my cobra delivers all of that and then some...but without me in it. I'm 6'3, and me driving this thing looks like one of those clowns that drive the incredibly small novelty cars...my legs are wrapped arround the wheel. So I was wondering...I've heard somewhere that you can reverse the seat rails and gain an extra couple of inches of movement, which would be all I'd need. Any ifo or experience on this kind of a swtichup? (its a cobra so of course its power drivers seat and yes i would be more thna willing to give that up...

I don't normally like to send people to other sites but here is a link to an article which will help the leg room problem

It is a simple mod. If you can run a drill and work a tap. You will be able to do this.

I replied to this post the other day, and did not put it together with the one I replied to yesterday about what happened.

Anyway, I don't know if it works with the electric seat. I did this for a friend on a regular seat.

If the seat bracket assembly looks flat, and bolts in four places to the bottom of the seat,(not the seat bracket bolts into the floor board which you have to take out to find out.......), then it will work.

Otherwise I know someone that may be interested in selling some extenders I made for the '99's.

Mike

I'm 6'3 and I have no problem with fitting into my 95 Cobra.

Is the seat trck messed up, does the motor take it back all the way?

I don't think it's a fit problem. In my '99 I fit fine, but the knee hitting the dash kind of got annoying. I made brackets to move it back 1 3/4". That helped alot. Wheel is almost to far away.lol
I then removed the dead pedal. This helped alot also.

I'm just over 6' 1".
