Where can I find information on the 2005 Mustang GT 500HP?

The 05 gt is only suppose to have like 300hp..

Theres no official information just bit of info:

GT will use a modified 4.6 L SOHC engine but with 3 valve heads and variable timing, good for close to 300HP.

The Gt most probably will come out with Independent rear suspension (IRS) while the V6 model will get the rigid axle.

My latest info tells me the GT gets the solid axle, too.

I think GNR 70 is confusing the 05 Mustang GT and the 04 GT (GT-40).

Yeah, I thing the gt is going to have 300 hp or 305. I also heard it is going to have a live axle and the Cobra will continue to have an independent rear end with 400 hp. That sound right.

Fords original intentions were to give the whole Stang lineup IRS but their financial woes have forced them to make cut backs and the IRS is one of those cut backs.

Theres also rumor for a Solid axle "LX" and premium GT with IRS...guess will have to wait.

Well unless Ford loses the 4x4 look they oughtta stick with the solid axle.

We had some final production pictures but apparentley Ford wasn't ready for them to be seen by the public. Everyone who had them had to quit showing them.
