What do I need to put in new gears?

I got some 3.73s and someone I know is putting them in for me. What all do I need, as far as seals, bearings etc., anything in addition to the gears themselves.

Pinion seal and silicon for the cover are the only essentials, but if you got the extra $$ spring for the full bearing kit -pinion bearings, carrrier bearings and axle bearings and seals. I also hope your buddy has a shop press to press on the pinion bearings, it really helps.
If you got limited slip- stop at the local Ford dealer and pick up a bottle of friction modifier.

Thanks and yes he has access to everything he needs, because he is a mechanic at a GM dealership and he'll be doing it there.

I agree with Mr coupe.

I just want to add one more thing, new clutches for the posi. unit. If it has been awhile since they have been replaced, now is a good time to do it.
