I would let your installer buy the top/pads/well liner, and all the other little parts that need to be replaced on a vert. I'm 50yo and have always had a vert.
Unless your attempting to install the top yourself, which I wouldn't do keep in mind the installer is not going to guarentee the top if you buy it.
So if there's a flaw in the top, i.e. stitching, a seperation of a seam after a few times of operation, which I've had happen, 50resto wold replace it but your going to have to pay again for the labor of installing it. Here in Missouri it costs between 6-700bux to replace a top, which includes labor, and all the materials.
When you add up all the parts you need you'll be aproaching $300-350. That's pads, window, top, well liner, straps, cables.all of that needs to be replaced when your top is replaced or you won't be covered by the warranty. Read the small print or ask a 50rest sales rep.
Good luck
